This institute is now named as "National Career Service Center for differently abled". This institute works on vocational rehabilitation of differently abled person so as to achieve financial Independence. Students get to learn about different means of vocational rehabilitation such as tailoring, mechanics, electronics etc.

This institute works in the area of industrial health problems and environmental engineering. The Factories Act, 1948 was designed and modeled by CLI. Physiotherapy students are benefited by getting insights of Industrial Therapy.

A lecture is organised about pathophysiology of burns, Medical and surgical management with special emphasis on complications and physio-therapeutic management. Physiotherapy students get exposure to various equipment used for splinting burn contracture, procedure of skin testing.
