Curricular Activities

Computer Lab

To facilitate easy access to all subscribed resources as well as abundant resources on the world-wide web, computer facility is made available in KJSCOP library


Laboratories are available for undergraduate as well as postgraduate teaching. Labs like kinesiotherapy, electrotherapy and electrodiagnosis are available with cubicles to give hands on training to the students.


The College also has a canteen for students, staff as well as patients. As is the policy of Somaiya group of institutions, only vegetarian food is allowed on campus.

Wifi Connectivity

KJSCOP boasts a campus which looks old school and has an old world charm to it. At the same time it has modern facilities for students to enhance learning & facilitate, etc.

Conference Room

The college has a spacious conference room available for teaching, workshops as well as meetings. It has broad band as well with WiFi facility.

Student's Common Room

There is a separate common room for boys as well as girls. It is a well ventilated and lit with the lockers facility for students.


The Physiotherapy College has shared Hostel facilities with K.J.Somaiya Medical College at the Ayurvihar Campus and at Somaiya Vidyavihar campus.

Van Facilities

The college has started van service from August 2016. This van service is for easy commute of patients needing regular physical therapy at nominal costs.


The college shares the auditorium with the facility available on the Ayurvihar Campus at 3rd floor of Medical College & equally good auditorium at Engineering college.

Medical Facility

The students of the college get all the medical facilities available at Somaiya Hospital. In case of emergency medical care in the casualty.

Other than clinical exposure in Somaiya hospital, it is important for students to experience & understand various factors required for complete rehabilitation of a patient.


A healthy mind resides in a healthy body, said Aristotle. In order to keep your body in good stead, the Gymkhana of the College conducts numerous sports' activities in swimming, taekwondo, volleyball, football, Cricket, gymnastics etc. The sports persons of the college have excelled particularly in swimming taekwondo and chess and brought laurels at national and international levels. Veteran coaches are imparting training to the willing students to excel in their chosen sports.


A state of the art Olympic track was established in the year 2011 which is located right in the centre of the campus. It is 400 meter, eight-lane athletic track. The track has been awarded IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations) Certified Class II category. The track is used by both recreational athletes looking to stay fit and also competitive athletes striving to become national champions under the guidance of our able coach Shri. Ravindra kumar Walmiki.A lush green grass football field lies amidst the running track, along with this facility of steeplechase and long & triple jump are available. Annual Camps are conducted.
