India will host the 2026 FISU World University Championship Squash at Somaiya Vidyavihar University in August. This brings together student-athletes from across the world for a week of international competition on Indian soil. Organised in collaboration with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) under the aegis of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), the championship carries the motto “Smashing Barriers, Uniting Nations.” The tournament arrives at a defining moment for the sport, as squash prepares for its historic Olympic debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Games.
